Massachusetts Youth Committed to Winning, Inc.(MYCW) is an educational-based athletic program for in-need and at-risk youth (grades 5th-10th) in Boston. We provide our participants an opportunity to play organized basketball while receiving academic and life skills preparation as an after-school activity. The importance of education is stressed from the start and is critical to our program. MYCW provides a positive and supportive environment, focused on the development and refinement of improved social and emotional behaviors and attitudes. MYCW is far more than a basketball program; it is life altering.

According to their need, students are enrolled in a tutorial educational program facilitated at Roxbury Community College utilizing college educated honor students and volunteer teachers up to four times weekly throughout the school year. Each young mans behavior is monitored continuosly in and out of school. Only those students with with successful classroom performance and responsible behavior are permitted to play in basketball tournaments.
